I could just sit and take pictures of my adorable little bean all day long! And I do! She looks so tiny swaddled in her Rock n Play (Many thanks to Anna & Magnus for this wonderful modern cradle!)
And though it's painful (nobody really prepares you for that!!), I love nursing her. I adore how I can nourish her with just what she needs - the perfect nutrition - from my own body. No matter where we go, as long as we stick together, she will thrive on my milk. That makes me feel pretty awesome. And also helps me get through the painful moments, because I know it's worth it! The best thing ever is when she passes out after a good feeding, and then lays on my lap making all sorts of milk drunk faces in her sleep. The following photos were probably all taken within a span of 2 minutes, tops :)
She's such a tiny peanut. Her head fits in the palm of my hand, and the only clothes that fit her are these tiny Gerber brand Onesies made for 5-8lb kiddos. I just think she's the cutest thing ever!

Look what I found!
He went into the bedroom to get something, and when I didn't hear from him I went in to check on him and this is what I found. Being a new parent sure is exhausting!! ;) But well worth it!
