Reasons I Love My Husband (more every day!)

C-section recovery is rough.  Thankfully I have an awesome husband here to help out around the house.  Of course there is a never-ending list of reasons I love my husband, but these are at the forefront of my mind lately:

1) He gets excited about things like a bottle drying rack coming in so handy (Thanks, Kristen Marie!) 

2) Yes, that's right, he does the dishes... and cleans the bathroom, the floors, and does the laundry... which brings me to:

3) I wake up from tiny naps between feedings to things like a baby hamper full of clothes w/ a handwritten note that says "clean" on top. 

4) He washed & saved the breast milk bag from the first 2 oz I pumped for him to feed Amelie - said he loved my "first time!" note on the label and wanted to keep it for her baby book. 

5) He makes sure *I* stay hydrated (fills my huge water jug) and eat, since he can't always make sure the baby does (breastfeeding pretty much locks me in on that job ;)  He made me little Tupperware containers of pasta I can heat up quickly when he's not here, and when he is here, he has been known to literally fork-feed me while I'm nursing Amelie, b/c he knows I forget to eat.

6) He's patient with visitors who come to the house on our 2nd day home from the hospital - and then does awesome stuff like teach my almost-3-yr-old nephew how to play his electric drum kit. 

7) I simply adore watching him w/ Amelie... Seriously, makes me fall in love w/ him more every day. I love how he thanks me for her, and gets so excited about every little thing she does. This man who had always thought infants were creepy looking and couldn't wait for his daughter to be talking so he could interact w/ her, now sits & stares at her lamenting how perfect she is. I'm tearing up right now just thinking about it. I love him so much and I know I've been one to complain a lot, especially about being in the hospital, so I wanted to share these thoughts. ♥
